General Info

Elementary and Middle School teams are welcome at this event.

Judging Format will be Remote Notebooks, In-Person Interviews 

Concessions: We will have a breakfast and coffee food truck available from 8am-10am, and an assortment of food trucks for lunch between 10am-2pm. 

Location: Event will be held in the Middle School's Student Engagement Center 

Parking: After entering the main gate, take the first roundabout exit towards the lower school. Park in the bus loop area, and there will be volunteers present to instruct you on where to check in for the tournament. 

Note:

  • All attendees are expected to abide by the code of conduct.
  • All participants are expected to complete the participant release form (also available in Spanish). Completing this once per season covers all events.
  • Ensure your IT does not block emails from robotevents.com and roboticseducation.org

Agenda

8:00 AM Doors open: teams check in, locate assigned team pits, and complete robot inspection. We will have a breakfast and coffee food truck available until 10am. 

8:45 AM Check-in Deadline! If you are running behind, please email me ASAP! At this time, unconfirmed teams will be left off the match list.

9:00 AM Opening remarks, qualifying matches and interviews begin. Matches will run tight, and last only 60 seconds. The Emcee will start the matches about 30-60 seconds after the last one ends. Pay attention! The matches will run without you! Interviews will be conducted until 2:30 PM. Driver Skills will also be available until this time. 

12:00-12:45 PM All teams break for lunch. Please plan to either bring your own food or order from our concessions. Fast nearby restaurants include: Zaxby's, Taco Bell, Moe's, Publix, etc. Pizza by the slice (Cheese or Pepperoni), as well as a [Pizza]-[Chips or Fruit]-[Drink] Combo will be available for purchase. 

1:00 PM Qualifying matches resume. 

3:00 PM Qualification Matches finish. Deadline for Interviews and Robot Skills at end of final Qualification Match. 

3:15 PM FINALS (5 alliances of top 10 scoring teams)

3:45 PM AWARDS CEREMONY. More information on the awards available can be found on the AWARDS tab. 

4:00 PM Wrap Up & Clean Up (Teams are dismissed)

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

For event day information regarding weather delays or cancellations, please check the event page for updates. 

If the event will not run as planned you will receive an email.

Refund and Payment Policies

Teams need to pay within 2 weeks of registering or by the payment deadline. 

Teams that have not paid may be moved to the waitlist. Payment after that point will only add your team to the event if there is space. 

All refunds for payments through robotevents.com may require 6-8 weeks to process.  RECF will take $5 from each payment and that will be deducted from the refund.

Before 4 weeks - Full refund (Less RECF Fees)

Within 4 weeks - No refund  (barring extenuating circumstances with documentation)

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews:

Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event.

Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents.

The submission deadline for engineering notebooks is February 4th, 2026.
