The PGCPS CTE VEX IQ Robotics Tournament is a countywide competition designed to engage middle school students in hands-on STEM learning through the exciting world of robotics. Hosted by the Prince George’s County Public Schools Office of Career and Technical Education (CTE), this event provides students the opportunity to apply engineering, coding, and teamwork skills in a friendly, competitive environment aligned with Career and Technical Education (CTE) and Project Lead the Way (PLTW) goals.

The tournament will take place on Friday, February 7, 2025, and will feature both teamwork and skills challenges where students design, build, and program VEX IQ robots to complete game-based tasks. The event promotes creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving while introducing students to potential career pathways in engineering, technology, and robotics.

Participants will have the chance to connect with peers, teachers, and industry partners while showcasing the innovative spirit that defines CTE programs across Prince George’s County.
