General Info

This fast paced VEX IQ Mix & Match tournament is intended to be a simple opportunity for students to compete in the fall semester prior to the FrostByte Frenzy VIQRC Signature Event. There will not be as many bells and whistles as a normal Bixby tournament. This is intended to simply be an opportunity for Oklahoma teams to compete and get some experience in before the big Signature Event! 

 

Note: This tournament will not offer Skills, but teams are encouraged to signup for the Skills Only tournament happening the very next week.

Judging Format: Remote Engineering Notebooks

Agenda

2:45 pm - Doors open

  • Inspection begins
  • Team interviews begin

3:30 pm - Matches begin

  • All teams must be inspected
  • Qualification matches begin

6:20 pm -  Matches conclude

  • Finals begin shortly after (top 10 teams)
  • Brief awards ceremony 

6:45 pm - Venue closes

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Teams will be notified if there are any weather concerns. 

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

  • Teams will be given a credit for future tournaments hosted by Bixby Public Schools

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

  • No refund is given

Judging Format

 Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
