General Info

Welcome to the second annual Junior Vikings State Qualifier.  We look forward to an exciting day hosting teams!

We will be hosting a Middle School Competition at Crestview Middle School in Huntington!

This event will offer Robotics Skills and Teamwork Challenge Events.

Team Pits will be in the cafeteria, with competetive events in the main gym.  Teams are welcome to bring their own practice board to set up in the pits.

There will be a concession stand available throughout the day and a hospitality room for coaches.

Pizza Order Forms will be available closer to the competition date.

Any team not paid within four weeks of the event will be transferred to the waitlist. Refunds are not guaranteed and are only issued at the discretion of the event organizers.

Please make sure all participant and coaches have filled out the online participants release form because the REC now requires all Event Partners to check to make sure all teams have submitted the required online form.

If your team needs any special accommodations, please contact Rebecca Livingston, in advance, so that arrangements can be made to meet the needs of your team

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

We will contact you the morning of the event if officials determine that weather requires its cancellation.

We will attempt to reschedule if this happens.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event:

Refunds (less the $5 processing fee from REC) will be issued in the case of an event cancellation.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Our planning depends in part on having an accurate team count.  Please only register robot teams that intend to compete. We will issue a refund (less the $5 processing fee from REC) only if event partner is informed via email that a team would like to withdraw at least 1 month prior to competition (before December 24th). No refunds will be issued after we have passed that date.

Payment Deadline is December 27th, 2025. Not paying by this date may mean that your team may be placed on the waitlist to make room for another team.
