General Info

Robotics Edge, Cybercat Robotics, Apex Robotics and ALA Applied Technologies Robotics are excitd to welcome all Middle School robotics teams who have qualified to compete at this year's AZ State VEX IQ Robotics Competition Championship Tournament.

This event will have remote notebook judging and in person interviews the day of the event.  Notebook links should be uploaded to Robotevents by midnight, February 27.   If you receive an invitation to compete in this tournament after February 27, please make sure the notebook link is provided in Robotevents no later than 2 days after the invitation is received.

We hope to have some practice fields for teams but if you need a field, please bring your own and we will do our best to fit as many practice fields as we can.

Hot lunch and beverages will be provided to all volunteers!

1:00 pm - Qualification Matches Resume (Skills will end with Qualification Matches)

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Event is indoors.  Weather should not be an issue. 

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: Full refund, minus the $5 RobotEvent fee. 

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:  No Refunds.

 

The payment deadline is March 7, 2026.  If payment is not received by this date, your team will be moved to the waitlist.

 

Judging Format

 

  •  Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents.  Notebook links must be submitted by Midnight, February 27, 2026.
