Event Overview
The VIQRC Nationals is a premier competitive event that brings together top-performing robotics teams from across the country. This national-level tournament is the culmination of months of hard work, innovation, and collaboration. Teams will compete at the highest level for a chance to qualify for the VIQRC World Championship in St. Louis, USA. It's not just a competition — it’s a celebration of STEM excellence, sportsmanship, and strategic thinking.

- Students and coaches: 6:30 am
- Parents: Only from 2:00 pm
What to Bring
- Robot: Ensure your robot is competition-ready, fully assembled, and compliant with VIQRC build specifications.
- Engineering Notebook: Required for teams participating in judged awards.
- Game Manual: Keep your team's game manual handy for reference.
- Tools: Bring necessary tools and spare parts for any adjustments or repairs.
- Team Spirit: National events are high-energy — bring your banners, cheers, and enthusiasm to represent your region with pride!
Rules and Regulations
All teams must adhere strictly to the official VEX IQ Robotics Competition rules and guidelines. Additional instructions and competition-day logistics specific to the Nationals will be shared closer to the event.

As a volunteer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the event. Your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with setup and teardown
- Refereeing matches
- Providing technical support to teams
- Helping with scoring and data entry

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the event of an emergency or severe weather conditions, the following policies will be implemented:
Cancellation
- Extreme Weather: If the local authorities issue a severe weather warning or if conditions pose a safety risk, the scrimmage may be canceled or postponed.
- Emergency Situations: In the event of an emergency (e.g., power outage, natural disaster), the scrimmage may be canceled or postponed.
Postponement
- Rescheduling: If the scrimmage is postponed, we will make every effort to reschedule the event as soon as possible.
- Communication: Participants will be notified of any changes through email or other communication channels.
Safety Protocols
- Evacuation Plan: We have an emergency evacuation plan in place. In case of an emergency, all participants will be guided to a safe location.
- First Aid: First aid kits will be available on-site. In case of a medical emergency, please inform a staff member immediately.

Judging Format
- All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
