Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

The safety and well-being of all participants, volunteers, and attendees are the top priority for our event.  While our event is held indoors at St.Clement's School, severe weather conditions can still affect travel to and from the venue.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances, including, but not limited to, severe weather or other emergencies, that may require the postponement or cancellation of the event, the Event Partner will make decisions with the health and safety of everyone involved as the primary consideration.

Communication Plan:

Should a decision be made to postpone or cancel the event, we will communicate this information to all registered teams and volunteers through the following channels:

• Email: An email will be sent to the Primary Coach's email address listed on RobotEvents.com. Please ensure your contact information on RobotEvents.com is current.

• RobotEvents.com Event Page: An announcement will be posted on the "General Info" tab of our event page on RobotEvents.com.

We strongly encourage all coaches and participants to monitor these communication channels closely leading up to the event, especially if adverse weather conditions are forecasted.
