General Info
Welcome to the Wyoming State Championship!
This tournament will be held at the Gillette College Pronghorn Center in Gillette, Wyoming.
Parking for the Pronghorn Center is conveniently located between the Rec Center and the High Plains Grill. Please access the parking lot from Slate Street off Enzi Drive.
Please note that full concessions will not be available. Teams should plan to pack a lunch or arrange for food to be brought in from nearby restaurants. Friends and family members are welcome to deliver food during the lunch break. During event activities, the pit area on the gym floor is restricted to team members, coaches, and event personnel only.
Participation and Consent Form
All team members, coaches, and adult mentors must complete the required online consent form. This form is valid for the entire season and applies to all RECF-run events. A link to the instructions for completing the online consent form can be found here.
The Wyoming State Championship is a celebration of learning, teamwork, and friendly competition. All participants are expected to demonstrate positive sportsmanship at all times. This includes showing respect for teammates, opponents, volunteers, referees, judges, and event staff. Gracious professionalism, honesty, and kindness are core values of VEX competitions, and we ask everyone to help create a welcoming, supportive environment where all teams can do their best work and enjoy the experience.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In case of inclement weather, we we follow the policy of Gillette Community College District. If it is possible to reschedule the event, it will be rescheduled.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event: refunds will be issued.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: refunds will not be issued.
Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
