WA | VEX IQ Robotics Competition™ (Blended)

General Info

Welcome to the 2026 Carey Baptist College Classic. We welcome all participating teams warmly and wish you the best of luck in this exciting event. Get ready to showcase your robotics skills, innovation, and teamwork as you compete alongside other talented teams. We have gathered important information to ensure your participation goes smoothly and you have an enjoyable experience. Please take note of the following details: 

1. Event Location: The robotics competition will take place at the Carey Baptist College Harrisdale Main Auditorium. Access through the Carey Centre next to Timber Cafe.

2. Check-in and Inspection: Teams are requested to check in promptly on Friday, October 17th, at 8.00 am for robot inspection. Before arriving for check-in and robot inspection, please complete an inspection checklist.

3. Arrival and Departure Times: We kindly request all teams to plan for arrival for 10:00 AM on the event day. The competition is expected to run until approximately 4:00 PM. Please note that these times may be subject to change closer to the event, depending on the number of teams registered. We will keep all participants informed of any schedule adjustments. 

4. Food and Drink: Food and drinks will be available from Timber Cafe or a number of foo outlets near the school. You are welcome to bring your own food.

5. Further Assistance: Our team is dedicated to providing a memorable and well-organised competition experience. If you have any general inquiries or require assistance regarding the event's operations, please don't hesitate to reach out to our team members, who will be present at the venue to provide guidance and support.
