VEX IQ City of London Regional is held at the City of London School for Girls, Barbican.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

The Coach/Mentor should follow the Global Robotics and Science Foundation rules on withdrawing and changing teams. If the choses to withdraw, for any reason, after the registration end date, the Event Partner should be contacted as soon as possible to allow them time to offer the spot to a team on the waiting list.

For teams attending, an email will be sent in advance with further details of the day.

Public transport is the best way to get to the school.
CLSG is located closest to Moorgate Station (Circle, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan and Northern Line, for STEP-FREE Access) and Barbican Station (Circle, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan Line, which is not step-free)
If travelling using the Elizabeth Line, alight at Liverpool Street Station, and walk towards the Moorgate Station entrance.

Liverpool Street is about 10-15 minutes walk away if travelling on the Central Line or using Overground Weaver Line.
St. Paul's Station is about 10-15 minutes walk if travelling on the Central Line.

Coach/Car:

There is no car or coach parking available at CLSG.
If travelling by car, please park at the Barbican Centre which can be accessed via Silk Street or via the Beech Street tunnel.

Please note that the school is not liable for the cost of parking, and will be at your own expense.

Access by Silk Street: the first car park will be Car Park 3 and you will be on Level -1 of the Barbican.
Access by Beech Street: the first car park will be Car Park 5 and Car Park 4 and you will be on the Ground Floor of the Barbican.

No entrance or exit through Silk Street: 12.30am–7am

If travelling via coach, please note there is no coach access to the terrace. Please ask the driver to park on Wood Street which is a 1 minute walk from the school. The coach will need to find alternative parkng for the day.

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews:

Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event.

Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact.

Submission deadline for notebooks: 25th October 2026
Submissions on the day of the event will not be accepted.
