General Info

We are here to present the 2026-2027 Fun with Robotics @ UCI, our signature robotics challenge designed to inspire creativity, teamwork, and innovation!

This year, we’re taking things to the next level with an exciting venue at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) again!

Our goal remains the same: to provide every participant with an enjoyable and memorable experience, fostering a lifelong love for robotics in a fun, engaging, and supportive environment.

To make the event even better, we’ve adjusted the schedule to start later in the day, allowing teams to arrive refreshed and ready to compete. Plus, don’t miss our parent component during the awards ceremony, where families can join in the excitement and celebration!

10:45 - 11:00 Drivers Meeting (explaining rules and demo of game)

We welcome volunteers of all skill levels to join us! Whether you’re completely new or highly experienced, your support helps make our events possible. Training will be provided for all roles, and we’re happy to match you with a position that fits your interests and comfort level.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: Registration will be refunded.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event and then chooses to withdraw or not attend: No refunds after the registration deadline.

Judging Format

All Remote Judging - The Initial Team Interviews will be conducted remotely, and Engineering Notebooks will be submitted to judges digitally via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on events.vex.com. Initial Interviews will be scheduled between Nov 1-6, and the Notebook submission deadline will be Nov 6.
