Welcome to the NJSP VEX IQ Robotics Competition!

We are excited to welcome you to North Judson–San Pierre for our VEX IQ Robotics Competition, Level Up Blended Open Tournament on November 7, 2026!

We are looking forward to a great day of competition, creativity, teamwork, and sportsmanship. This event is open to both Elementary and Middle School teams, and we are excited to see the incredible robots, strategies, and teamwork your students bring to the field.

We are proud to host this event and cannot wait to welcome teams, coaches, families, and spectators to NJSP!

Concessions & Food

A full concession stand will be available throughout the event.

We will also have food trucks on site, providing additional food options for teams, coaches, families, and spectators.

Required Forms

All participants and coaches must complete the online Participant Release Form.

The REC Foundation requires Event Partners to verify that all teams have submitted the required release forms prior to the event. Please make sure all team members have completed their forms before arriving.

Engineering Notebooks

Teams wishing to be considered for judged awards must submit their Engineering Notebook electronically no later than October 24, 2026.

Engineering Notebooks will NOT be accepted in person on the day of the tournament.

Please make sure your notebook is uploaded and submitted by the deadline. Late or in-person notebook submissions will not be accepted.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of severe weather, an emergency, or other circumstances that may impact the safety of participants or the ability to hold the tournament, the Event Partner will communicate any schedule changes, delays, or cancellations to registered teams as soon as possible. Coaches are responsible for monitoring their email and the event page for updates.

The safety of our teams, coaches, volunteers, families, and spectators will always be our top priority. If the event is canceled by the Event Partner due to emergency conditions or severe weather, a full refund will be issued to registered teams.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event:

A full refund of the event registration fee will be issued to all registered teams.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

No refund will be issued. Registration fees are non-refundable for teams that withdraw, cancel, or do not attend the event.

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
