General Info
Welcome to our second annual practice scrimmage event, created and reserved specifically for Cabot IQ teams. Please note, this is not an official, qualifying event. It is being held early in the season to provide teams a soft launch into the competitive piece of Robotics. This is intended to be a learning event for everyone involved (teams, coaches, parents, volunteers, and event officials), so that teams will be more prepared to participate in competitive tournament events in the future.
What to expect:
- 2 event/skills fields
- 1-2 practice fields
- Pit tables assigned (1-2 teams per table)
- Access to outlets (bring your own chargers and power strips)
- Early check in and set up offered Friday evening (practice fields will be available)
- Skills opportunities Saturday morning
- 6-8 qualification matches begining after lunch on Saturday
- In person judging for notebooks and team interviews (to gain experience)
- Physical notebooks only
- NO ELIMINATION or FINALS
- NO AWARDS
Concession stand with snacks and drinks will be offered (cash only).

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In case of emergency or bad weather, the event will be postponed to a later date. Registration will transfer to a later event; refunds will occur only if the event is canceled.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
Refunds will only be awarded if the event is completely canceled. The $5 fee charged by RobotEvents is non-refundable.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event, then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
No refund will be issued if the team withdraws or does not attend.
Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges. Interviews will be scheduled and in your team packet at check in.
