General Info
Thank you for your interest in the VEX IQ Elementary School League hosted by Hudsonville Robotics!
Leagues are a great opportunity for teams to gain competition experience before entering full day tournaments. They will compete in at least 17 matches. This gives them time improve their robot between sessions.
Facility - The competition will be hosted in the East Gym of Hudsonville High School conveniently located one mile north of I-196 just west of Grand Rapids, Mi. Ample parking is available on campus and there are also plenty of resturants and retail locations in the area.
Competition - Teams will have robot inspection and participate in five qualification matches at the first three sessions. The final session will have robot inspection, skills, two qualification rounds, Teamwork Challenge, and Awards. We will be following the rules in the latest release of the VEX Robotics Competition – Game Manual.
Pits - 6-foot tables, two chairs, electrical outlet, and public WIFI will be provided. We encourage teams to bring a plug strip.
Registration - All participating teams must be registered with VEX Robotics and have an official team number before registering for this event. Tournament fees must be paid before teams are allowed to compete. Registration and payments should be made through the VEX Events website.

Refund and Payment Policies
Refund Policy
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
A full refund of all registration fees will be issued. Refunds will be made to the address associated with the team's event registration, regardless of the original payment method. The Event Partner will issue the refund using their standard refund process, which may include mailing a check or another payment method.
Examples:

If payment was made by check, the Event Partner may issue a refund by check to the school's or organization's business office.

If payment was made through a purchase order or other invoicing process, the Event Partner may issue a refund according to their organization's financial procedures.
If a Coach/Mentor withdraws a team or the team does not attend:
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event and later withdraws the team or the team does not attend, no refunds will be issued.
Payment Deadline:
Payment is December 26, 2026. Teams that have not paid by the payment deadline may be moved to the waitlist to make room for another team.
