General Info
We are excited to welcome your teams to the VEX IQ Robotics Competition on Friday, October 30, at LSUA!
Please plan to arrive early enough to complete check-in, robot inspection, and get your team settled before competition begins.
Event Schedule
- 7:30 a.m. – Team Check-In Opens
- 9:00 a.m. – Competition Begins
- 12:00 p.m. – Lunch Break
- Afternoon – Competition Resumes, Finals & Awards
- By 4:00 p.m. – Event Concludes
We work hard to keep the competition moving throughout the day and plan to have the event wrapped up no later than 4:00 p.m.
Volunteers & Game Fields Needed
These events depend on the support of our coaches, schools, and volunteers. For the October 30 competition, we are looking for:
- 4 Game Fields
- 8 Adult Judges
- 4 Team Interview Judges
- 4 Engineering Notebook Judges
- 3 Student Runners
We will provide a complimentary team registration to schools/teams that assist by providing a game field or an adult judge.
If you are interested in volunteering, providing a field, or have someone who would be willing to serve as a judge, please email me at [email protected].
Your support makes a tremendous difference in our ability to keep the tournament running efficiently and provide a great experience for our students.
We encourage all teams to arrive as close to 7:30 a.m. as possible so there is plenty of time for check-in, inspection, and preparation before the first matches begin.
Additional event-day information, including parking, location details, lunch information, and final instructions, will be shared closer to the event.

Judging Format
Please review the following Judging Format options and keep the ones that apply to your event, and delete the others that do not apply.
- Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions . Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
- In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event
