Knights Robotics is excited to host the Knights Royal Rumble IQ Open Tournament. This event will be held at Royal Live Oaks Academy in Hardeeville, SC, where teams from across the region will compete in this season's exciting VEX IQ challenge, Level Up.
We are looking forward to welcoming teams, coaches, and spectators for a day of innovation, teamwork, and friendly competition. We can't wait to see the creative robot designs, engineering solutions, and outstanding performances on Saturday, December 12.

Volunteer
Volunteers are the backbone of VEX IQ Robotics Competitions, and we are seeking volunteers to help make our event a success. We have opportunities available for judges, referees, queue runners, and scoring referees. Most of these roles require minimal experience, and we provide resources and training to help you prepare.
Our greatest need is for judges. Judges play a vital role in the competition by reviewing engineering notebooks, interviewing students, and collaborating to identify the recipients of the various judged awards.
If you or someone you know is interested in volunteering, please contact me at [email protected]. I would be happy to answer any questions and help you prepare for your role. Your support will help us provide an amazing experience for all participating teams.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
Our event will follow Royal Live Oaks Academy's policies regarding event cancellations. In the event of a weather-related cancellation, every effort will be made to reschedule the competition for the next available date.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
We will reschedule the event to the next available date.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED
Judging Format
Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. Digital notebooks should be uploaded prior to 6 AM on December 11, 2026.
