Welcome to the iCode Pearland & Alvin ISD VEX IQ Robotics Competition!
We are excited to welcome teams from across the area for a great day of robotics competition, teamwork, and fun!
This event is hosted in partnership between iCode Pearland and Alvin ISD and is designed to provide students with an exciting opportunity to compete, learn, collaborate, and showcase the skills they have developed throughout the season.
Teams will have the opportunity to participate in Teamwork Challenge matches and Robot Skills Challenges, while meeting and competing alongside other students who share their passion for robotics.
Our goal is to create a positive, welcoming, and student-centered tournament experience for everyone. Whether this is your team's first competition or you are an experienced competition team, we hope every student leaves the event with new experiences, new friendships, and great memories.
Coaches, parents, families, and spectators are welcome to attend and support their teams. We ask everyone to demonstrate good sportsmanship and help us create a positive environment for all participating students.

The venue will be open for event setup prior to 9:00 AM; however, we kindly ask teams and families not to enter until 9:00 AM so our staff and volunteers have enough time to complete setup and prepare everything for the competition.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation. We want to make this a great experience for all of our teams and will be ready to welcome everyone at 9:00 AM!
All coaches are encouraged to complete a pre-inspection of their robots prior to the tournament to help ensure a smooth and efficient inspection process.
Please plan to arrive with enough time for team check-in and robot inspection.

9:45 AM – Inspection Closes / Drivers & Loaders Meeting / Match Schedule Generated
10:00 AM – Qualification Matches Begin
12:30 PM – Lunch Break

4:30 PM – Awards Ceremony & Closing

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
If by chance the weather is bad, we have an alternative location. If the weather is extreemly bad such as a cat5 we will reschedule.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
Refunds will be provided to teams
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
Refunds will not be provided to teams.
Judging Format
Notebook Links are Due-October 20th at noon.
- Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
