VEX IQ Robotics Competition- Codemando Blitz Round 2

General Info

We are excited to see you all on December 12th for our Third annual Codemando Blitz Tourney.  We have filled our morning event so now we are going to offer a Round 2, afternoon event.

Our goal is to be done by 8pm.  

 

Emails

All information about this event will be emailed and can also be found on this website. It is important that you begin looking for emails from me after November 25th. You should get at least one email. Please check your junk, clutter or spam files for these. 

This information will not be finalized until 5 days before the event. Get an idea here of how the event will go, but keep in mind that it will not be final until December 8th

 

Fields

We will have 2 tournament fields and 2 skills/practice fields.

 

Volunteers

If you have any adults that would like to help keep score or work the queue tables, send their names my way. If you have teams that do not plan on showing up, please let me know ASAP. 

 

Dinner / Concessions

We plan on having a concession stand and offer pizza for sale for dinner.

 

Judging

No Judging for this event.  Our goal is to have a fast paced event to get you in and out for the day

 

Pits

 

The pits will be in the cafeteria and the event will be in our Auditorium on the stage. Please bring power strips for the community charging stations and make sure everything is labeled. 

Only coaches, students and event staff are allowed in the pit area. We will have monitors ensuring that G1 and G2 rules are being followed.

If the event is full, please add your team to the wait list.

Payments are due by 11/26/26. If your team does not pay by that deadline, you may lose your spot and teams will be added from the wait list. 

Additional information regarding directions, campus maps, and times will be added closer to the tournament date.  In the meantime, if you have any questions, please email [email protected]. Participants will be required to submit the VEX liability release form through events.vex.com.
