GA VEX Events is excited to host this VEX IQ tournament. Students and attendees are sure to have a fun-filled day of robotics competition and we look forward to seeing all of the teams shine!

All participants are expected to complete the participant release form. Once per season covers all events.

8:30 AM Door opens for students
8:30 AM - 9:15 AM – Inspection
8:30 AM – 10:30 AM Skills (will continue all day) and round one of interviews (interview schedule will be shared close to the event date)

10:30 AM - 10:45 AM - Driver’s meeting
11:00 AM – 12:30 PM - Teamwork
12:30 PM – 1:00 PM - Lunch
1:00 PM – 4:00 PM - Teamwork
1:00 PM – 3:00 PM Skills
4:00 PM – 4:15 PM - Finals
4:15 PM - 4:30 PM - Awards

NOTE: Each team will be able to run a maximum of 3 robot (driver) skills challenges and 3 programming challenges. 3 fields will be available for Skills Challenge attempts from 8:40 AM - 10:45 AM. 1 field will be open for skills challenges during qualification matches.The Skills Field will close at 3:00 PM

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Teams will be notified as early as possible if it is determined that bad weather will cause a change in event-day plans. In the event of a cancellation, every effort will be made to reschedule for a later date.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event:

If an event must be canceled, every attempt will be made to reschedule the event in order to provide the opportunity for the students to compete. If the event cannot be rescheduled, every attempt will be made to process a refund. Please contact event Partner for more details.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

No refunds will be given. We would be more than happy to replace a team on the waitlist from same school/organization that can attend in the withdrawing teams place. If you have any questions about this policy, please reach out to the event partner.

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
