Parkview Elementary- Level Up the Love VEX IQ Robotics Compeition

Agenda

Schedule for the day:
7:30- Doors Open- It's time to let the love for robotics start flowing. Come on in and start leveling up the love.
8:00- Inspection Opens- Get your robot inspected to begin leveling up the love.  
8:55 - Inspection Closes- Be sure to have your robot inspected so your team can reach the next level!
9:00- Drivers' Meeting- All robot drivers must be present! We will meet on the Panther Logo to discuss driver expectations for the day!
9:15-12:00- Qualification Matches Begin/ Skills Matches Begin- Now is the time to level up! The matches begin!
12:00-12:45- Lunch- A quick break for teams to refuel before reaching the next level!

12:45- Qualification Matches Resume- Now is the time to reach the next level! 
1:00- Skills Close- The final level for skills is complete! 
2:45- End of Qualification Matches- It is time to see if your team has qualified for the final level!
3:00- Finals Matches- The Final Level has been set! 
3:20- Awards and Clean-Up- Two teams will be awarded Teamwork Champions for reaching the highest level! 

Sometimes things don't go according to plan. Adjustments to the schedule may have to be made to ensure things run smoothly throughout the day!

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of inclement weather, we will notify all registered teams as soon as possible, and we will make every effort to communicate any changes the evening before the competition.

If the competition is held as scheduled and a team chooses not to attend for any reason, including weather concerns, illness, or travel issues, registration fees are non-refundable.

If severe weather or other unforeseen circumstances require the organizers to cancel or postpone the event, registered teams will be notified promptly. Any refunds or event credits will be handled in accordance with Global Robotics event policies. The event organizers are not responsible for travel, lodging, or other expenses incurred by participating teams.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event:
If the Event Partner must cancel the event due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, registered teams will be notified as soon as possible, with every effort made to communicate any changes the evening before the competition. Any refunds or event credits will be handled in accordance with Global Robotics event policies. The Event Partner is not responsible for travel, lodging, or other expenses incurred by participating teams.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
If a Coach/Mentor registers a team for the event and later chooses to withdraw or not attend, registration fees are non-refundable if the event is still being held as scheduled. This includes decisions not to attend due to weather concerns, illness, scheduling conflicts, travel issues, or other circumstances affecting the individual team.
