This event is for UK teams only.
Thank you for registering for the Gateshead Regional for "High Stakes" Competition at Whickham School. I'm really excited for this new season!
Please make sure if you are competing for Design Award you ensure you have a Physical Engineering Notebook to show the team's engineering design process. We will be running Robot Skills after Qualification Matches. They will be a practice field available.

I'm looking forward to meeting you and your team on Saturday 8th February 2025; there is ample parking right next to the venue as it's a Saturday.
Please bring packed lunches and refreshments. However, there may be Whickham "World Challenge" pupils refreshments and treats for a donation. There is local amenities too, within a short didtance to the school.

Please contact me, we need more volunteers in the North East! These can be teachers or parents or people from the world of work. I will need scorers, additional head ref and field reseters.
Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
We are not expecting inclement weather issues. Should issues with venue or routes into it occur then I will email out the night before.
Should you have transport issues, please contact my mobile.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event: We will contact you well ahead of time, at least a week, so you can cancel your travel plans.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
Please contact me ASAP so I can move you from the Team list and invite a nother team, in your place.

Judging Format
- All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges. Digital Notebooks will not be presented for Design Award/Excellence Award.
