Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of inclement weather changes to the schedule will be emailed to team contacts.

Options:

1. Event opening may be delayed to allow for travel.

2. Event may be cancelled due to the weather.

Announcements will go out by 6:00 am.

All teams are encouraged to use their best judgement when deciding to attend.

If the event is cancelled due to inclement weather or Covid, refunds less any event partner expenses will be processed by Middletown Robotics.

Refund and Payment Policies

Payment:

Any teams not marked paid in robotevents by the registration deadline of Monday January 22 will be moved to the waitlist. Teams waiting to register will be notified until event capacity is filled.

Refund Policy:

Refunds will be available to teams requesting registration cancellation 7 or more days prior to the event.  No other refunds will be processed.  If the event is cancelled, refunds (less event partner expenses) will be processed by Beman Robotics. The $5 Processing fee collected by the REC Foundation will be duducted from all refunds.

Judging Format

In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
