General Info

Welcome to the V5RC Thailand Cup 2025!

We are delighted to present the inaugural V5RC Thailand Cup, an event crafted to promote international exchange among young innovators through STEAM education and to celebrate the culmination of their efforts in the VEX Robotics season. This premier event will bring together local and international teams for a remarkable robotics competition, offering a platform to showcase their hard work and creativity. This is a non qualifying VEX event for VEX Worlds.

Although the qualifying rounds for the world championships have either concluded or are nearing completion, international teams are eagerly anticipating their visit to Thailand. They are excited to engage with local teams and counterparts from around the globe, exchanging technical insights, ideas, and strategies while participating in enriching cultural interactions. This event warmly welcomes participants of all skill levels, encouraging even novices to take part.

The Thailand Cup is designed to provide children with additional opportunities to compete and to highlight the dedication they have invested throughout the VEX season. It serves as a continuation of other VEX Competitions in Thailand, offering a chance for teams unable to attend previous events or for teams that want to prepare for the VEX World Champsions if they have qualified. As with our previous events over the past five years, our goal is to host a world-class competition in Thailand that encapsulates the spirit and excitement of the world championships on a more intimate scale. We envision establishing an annual international tournament, featuring 55 teams, held each February in Thailand.

While team results will be recorded on robotevents.com, please note that this event does not provide qualifications for the world championships. Teams aiming to qualify should participate in regional qualifying events. However, we will offer awards, including the Create Award, Judges Award, and Excellence Award, with prizes for outstanding performances.

To register for this event, please use this Google Form as well as complete robot event registration - https://forms.gle/cFsWtZPfPafS6bhp9
