General Info
This CAIS-exclusive blended league (open to both middle and high school teams) offers a unique opportunity to compete, collaborate, and grow within a focused and dynamic community. Unlike single-day tournaments, V5 Leagues spread qualifying matches across multiple ranking sessions, giving students the rare opportunity to test, iterate, and improve over time — a powerful extension of engineering learning in action.
League Format

5 total dates (4 Ranking Sessions + 1 Finals Day)

3–4 qualifying matches per session

3 Driver Skills + 3 Autonomous Skills runs per session (yes, every time — see Rule T24!)

Teams attend 3 of the 4 ranking sessions plus the Finals (you want to play at least 60% of the qualifcation matches)

- Start times of qualifcation matches will be strict to ensure effieincy throughout the day.
Ranking sessions:
- 8:15 - Doors open / Check in / Inspection / Practice
- 9:00-1:00 - Qualifying Matches (not stopping for lunch)
- 11:30 or 12:40 - Lunch
- 10:00-2:30 - Robot Skills Challenge
Skills Field will be available for general practice. Should a team want to do a skills run, we’ll do a quick reset and give them priority. After qualifications matches, the skills field will be fully dedicated to skills runs only.

Please contact the event organizer if you are interested in volunteering at any of the event days.
Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
An event day will be removed from the list if Appleby College is closed to academic classes on the day of the event. Ranking sessiions will not be rescheduled. If the Finals session must be cancelled, it will be rescheduled.
