General Info
This is a South Florida Event Region Championship Qualifying ‘Push Back’ event for the 2025-26 year. It will be held at South Dade Senior High in the Funari Fieldhouse (28401 SW 167th Ave). Spectators are welcome (no fee), and VOLUNTEERS are even more welcome (contact [email protected])
All attendees are expected to abide by the code of conduct. All participants are expected to complete the participant release form which can be submitted ONLINE by the team coach for this and future events!
If your team is fortunate enough to win a South Florida Event Region Championship spot from this (or any) qualifying competition, you will have two weeks to register and pay for it. Failure to register and pay within two weeks of the competition date where the championship spot was earned forfeits your teams spot--so be sure and plan ahead to register and pay on time.
Teams are responsible to have teams registered and fees paid two weeks following earning the Event Region Championship spot, unless of course the event you win a spot at is in the final two weeks before the Event Region Championship, in which case you must be prepared to pay immediately following that event.
**The Event Region Championship Skills score cut off will be two weeks prior to the state championship. The number of teams coming qualifying from the skills list is based on open spots after all events have completed two weeks prior to the championship. While teams at events now fill double qualified spots from skills at the event, there will still be teams winning spots from multiple competitions, these additional spots come from the top combined skills scores to teams who have not yet won a spot for a state championship as in previous years. Teams that qualify from the states skills list will have a short time to register and pay for the state championship, please plan accordingly and be prepared for a potential invitation two weeks prior to the state championship.
Teams that move on to the World Championship in St. Louis, Missouri, at the America's Center Convention Complex will be responsible for registering for the World Championship event promptly as they will only have ONE week to register AND pay before their invitation to Worlds is lost! Hint--Plan to win--plan for success--Plan accordingly with your teams from day one to win state spots, win a spot at states and play in worlds!! Plan to win both in spirit and financial planning!! Understand the awards and all rules. Contact Ulrika Peroni if you need any assistance on understanding awards or qualifying for states or the worlds championships. [email protected]

Volunteer
YES! We do need volunteers!
Volunteers are the heart of every VEX competition--without them the event simply cannot function. In a perfect world, every robot team would provide at least 2 adult volunteers at every event.
There are lots of different roles that need to be filled, with varying degrees of expertise and physical activity. Check out the 'Volunteers' tab at https://www.roboticseducation.org/ for an overview of the various volunteer roles.
PLEASE have one or two of your team parents email me at [email protected] with the subject "Volunteer for JingleBots" in the subject line. I will get back to them ASAP, and thanks in advance!!
Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
If necessary (a hurricane, for instance) the event will be CANCELLED and your registrations refunded (less the fees incurred by robotevents.com).** Notification of cancellations will be made through the contacts provided with your registration through robotevents.com and the RECF. Please make certain all your contact information is correct and current to stay informed!!
**From Robotevents.com: There is $5.00 USD fee, per registration, that will be withheld to cover website maintenance, processing fees, reporting, accounting, and system updates.
Refund and Payment Policies
Running a tournament is a serious financial undertaking for our team therefore: Teams that register for the event and have not paid their registration fee by November 28th will be moved to the waitlist and not allowed to compete in the event. Please keep this in mind during registration.
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
Refunds* will ONLY be issued at the event coordinators discretion. Please only register robots/teams that intend to attend.
Refunds will be provided if the event is canceled.
According to RECF policy, $5.00 of each registration is used by their organization for processing and is NOT REFUNDABLE.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
We will not issue a refund for a 'no show.'
