General Info

We invite your teams to participate in the Placer Robotics Push Back Tournament for middle school teams, held at Cavitt Jr High School in Granite Bay, CA

All events will receive state championship award bids based on the REC Foundation Qualifying Criteria. The awards slots will be allocated by RECF later in the season. 

Please make sure to review the refund policies and payment deadlines - any team not paid in full by payment deadline will be moved to the waitlist.

We always appreciate volunteers and are in need for volunteers on:

- Friday evening for setup

- Sunday evening for teardown

- Event day volunteers (Sat / Sun)

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Bad weather should not affect this event.

In case of a cancellation, the event partner will contact you as early as possible. 

Teams should make sure their contact information in Robotevents.com is up to date, and includes both school and non-school phone numbers.

Refund and Payment Policies

Payment is expected at the time of registration. Teams who have registered but have not paid or submitted by the event payment deadline of Oct 11 will be moved to the waitlist unless special arrangement has been made with the Event Partner.

if you are registering after the payment deadline of October 11, you must complete payment at time of registration or you will be moved to the wait list immediately. 

Registration contains a $5 RobotEvents processing fee that is not refundable

If the event is cancelled, a full event registration (minus $5) refund will be given to all paid teams. 

No refunds will provided for team requested changes/cancellations unless we can fill your spot from the waitlist. 

We are happy to consider team swapping requests that conform to the official REC Foundation Team Swapping Policy.  

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents.

Notebooks are due Tuesday October 280th, 9pm. Notebooks submitted after the deadline may not be accepted.
