General Info

Welcome to the first VEX Robotics Invitational Event in Southwestern Ontario! We are excited to be hosting 36 Teams from publicly funded High Schools across the Province in a qualifying tournament with the goal of seeing improvement & growth of high school robotics within our government school system! This event is exclusively open to Ontario Secondary School teams. Payment of $175 is due within 2 weeks of your registration to officially secure your team's spot.

Play a Tournament Double Header & Save! Teams that register for our other event No Way Snow Day taking place on Saturday December 13th (the day before this event), will receive a $50 discount per team at this event!

3:15pm: Alliance Selection

Eliminations: 3:30-4:30 pm

This is a good opportunity for new teachers to learn the ropes of hosting an event!

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

Teams are advised to watch robotevents.com for weather or emergency related cancellations. If the tournament must be cancelled or postponed the name of the tournament will change to "Cancelled" or "Postponed". In the event of a cancellation or postponement teams will be sent additional information to their contact person via email.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

This situation is pretty unlikely, but a full refund will be provided.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Once a team has paid the registration fee, no refunds will be given.

Note: Teams have 2 weeks after registration to pay for this event. unpaid teams will be moved to the waiting list. Unpaid registrations can only hold a team's spot at this event for a maximum of 2 weeks

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact.

Engineering Notebook Submission deadline is December 11th @ 3pm
