Welcome to DuBois Area Robotics VEX V5 State Qualifier! This event is primarily for schools located in Western Pennsylvania.
*There may be discounts offered for teams who supply event volunteers and/or for PA Rural Robotics Member Schools. This information will be finalized at a later date.

Volunteer
Teams will be responsible for field setup after the completion of their match scoring. We will be utilizing volunteers from our school, but will also need coaches and mentors to fill roles when they are at the competition. Responsibilities for volunteers will be determined after registration has closed, but may occur as late as competition day. We may be offering a discounted cost to attend the event for teams who provide a volunteer. More information regarding this will be provided at a later date.
Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
If there is inclement weather or a need to cancel, an attempt to reschedule will be made.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
Refunds will only be issued in the event of a weather cancellation or extenuating circumstance as determined by the Event Partner. You may contact [email protected] or [email protected] to discuss any refunds.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
If payment has not been completed, teams can be removed. Refunds can also be made if notification is made 2 weeks prior to the contest. If a cancellation is within 2 weeks, no refund will be made.
Judging Format
Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents.The submission deadline for updating the notebook link is Friday, February 6, 2026.
