General Info

This will be an event to remember! All matches will take place on stage with a professional film crew live recording every match from multiple perspectives. The spectators will relax comfortably in the auditorium watching live on a giant screen.

We'll have three match fields (on the ground), three skills fields (raised), and two practice fields.

Friday is an optional check-in and teams can run skills at this time as well.

Note: we have a lot of teams and only so many hours in a day. Please make sure your robot can pass inspection before coming. We wont' be able to wait for teams to make major mods on robotics to pass.

Also, if your team places a high priorty on skills, please consdier checking in on Friday night to make some or all of your runs.

We'd also recommend bringing an extension cord and power strip.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of bad weather, the event will either be cancelled or rescheduled. Coaches will be emailed in advance.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels/postpones the event:

Refunds will only be made if the event is cancelled by CCS. Refunds will not include the $5 processing fee assessed by Robot Events for processing.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Registrations will not be refunded for teams that register but choose not to come.

Health and Safety Policies

Teams will not be allowed to enter the field to retrieve their robot. Once their match has been scored, they will drive their robot to the side of the field to retrieve it. The only people allowed access to the field and game objects are officially marked staff.

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
