General Info
Much like Robomesse 2025, this will take place over 1.5 days. There will be a full day on Friday then Saturday morning. The vast majority of teams (or possibly all) will take part in the alliance selection and elimination rounds on Saturday. It will take place in our gymansium. It will feature remote and in-person judging, Skills, and Alliance selection / elimination tournament at the end. We will award the Excellence Award to the top robot team.
Lunch will be available in our canteen on day one and can be billed to your school on a per-person cost.
This will not be a Worlds Qualifying event.
Grade Level: All (If a MS team is doing V5RC, and they don't have other teams to compete against, they are welcome to join us).

Schedule Agenda for Robomesse 2026
Please note that Judges will need the digital notebooks to be uploaded by 9:00 am on Friday, March 6. These should be linked to your team’s details on Robot Events. You will then receive your notebook score at the Robomesse Tourney on Friday, March 13.
Team interviews will be done virtually, and will be scheduled in advance of the tournament. That schedule will be made in early March. Interviews will likely begin on Friday, March 7.
General schedule for Friday, March 13:
8:30: arrival
9:00: inspection.
9:45 practice matches, and Skills open (by appointment)
10:30: Morning Break and Snack
10:45: Qualification Matches and Skills
13:00 Lunch
14:00 pm: More qualification matches and more skills
4:00 Clean up and go enjoy Basel.
Saturday: March 1
8:30. Arrival
9:00: More Qualification Matches and Skills (limited skills runs available)
10:00 Break and Discuss Alliances
10:30 End of Skills. Morning Snack.
10:45 am Alliance Selection.
11:15 Elimination Matches.
11:45 Awards and Finals
12: 15 pm Final Awards
12:30 pm. Clean up, pack up, and go home

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
If the weather or state of the world is so bad that we need to cancel, all fees will be refunded. We would likely not be able to reschedule, so let's hope that doesn't happen.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
All fees are refunded.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
I will attempt to refund if the cancellation happens before March 1.

Judging Format
All Remote Judging - The Initial Team Interviews will be conducted remotely, and Engineering Notebooks will be submitted to judges digitally via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. Initial Interviews and Notebook submission deadlines may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
