General Info

Jackson Area Robotics and Jackson-Madison County School System along with Jackson State Community College are excited to again host the Toyota TN - Hub City Robo Rumble V5RC tournament in Jackson, TN.

This early season tournament will give teams the opportunity to test their designs and gain inspiration from one another in a laid back and fun environment.

Practice fields, Skills, and Inspection will be open on Friday afternoon for teams willing to help with set up.

Payment is due two weeks after a team is registered or immediately if after September 5, 2025, unless other arrangements are made with the EP.  All teams not paid after two weeks of registration will be moved to the waitlist and may be added back in, IF there is still room on the roster. If your registration payment process takes longer than two week, clear communication will keep teams from being moved to the Waitlist.  

Remote Notebook Judging - submission deadline is Friday, September 26, by 5:00 pm. The online notebook judging process is explained in this article. In-person Team Interviews begin at 8:00 am the day of the event.

Please consider joining us for a day of exhausting, but rewarding, fun.

Since one of our goals is to bring as many people from the Jackson and West TN area on board this adventure as possible, several roles are already filled. However, we can always use eager and experienced hands.

Friday afternoon set up begins at 11:00 am and will continue throughout the evening. Teams/volunteeers willing to help will recieve early access to pit set up, practice fields, Skills, and Inspection.

Full day Saturday volunteers will recieve breakfast, lunch, snacks, and all the coffee you can drink.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event that an emergency arises or inclement weather threatens to affect the tournament, email notifications will be sent. 

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Refunds will be issued if event is cancelled by EP. Refunds will NOT include the $5 processing fee collected by Robot Events.

If a Team completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

As a general rule, refunds will NOT be issued. However, we understand that unforseen circumstances come up. Please contact us as partial refund may be possible if your spot can be filled by another team. 

All registrations must be paid in full two weeks after team is registered or immediately if after Sept. 5, 2025, unless other arrangements have been made with EP. Unpaid teams may be moved to the Waitlist two weeks after registration and may be added back in IF there is room on the roster. If your registration payment process takes longer than two week, clear communication will keep teams from being moved to the Waitlist.  

Teams that have not paid registration fees for past events will be immediately moved to the waitlist until those registration fees are paid and may be added back in IF there is room on the roster.

  • In Personal Interviews
  • Judging will begin at 8:00 am. 
  • Teams should be prepared to be interviewed during lunch.
