General Info

Welcome to the Seton Christmas V5RC tournament.  This is a Virginia State qualifying event.  After 7 years of hosting VEX tournaments, we have mastered running a great tournament.  Key Features of this Tournament are:

  • 6 Qualification matches
  • Three elevated, portable, tournament fields with GPS grid
  • Certified Head Referee
  • Skills field with portable field (GPS grid)
  • Pipe and drape at competition fields
  • Two practice fields
  • Spacious pit areas w/chairs
  • All matches live-streamed
  • Live stream in the pits
  • Monitors with qualification rankings
  • Monitors with skills scores
  • Free parking at the school
  • On-site concessions. You may bring your own lunch or visit local area restaurants.

Payment:  All team payments must be sent to the REC Foundation by December 6 at 12:00 PM or your team will be dropped.  Only on-line payments will be accepted.  If the tournament is cancelled, all registered participants will be notified by 10 PM on the evening before the event.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

The event coordinator will e-mail coaches by 10:00 PM the day before the tournament if the event needs to be cancelled due to an emergency or bad weather.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels/postpones the event: 

  • The refund will be $10 less than the registration fee to cover administrative expenses.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: 

  • No refunds will be made unless the tournament is cancelled by the Event Partner.

All participants will be notified by e-mail by 10 PM on the evening before the event if the tournament is cancelled.
