General Info

Welcome to Ignite's Push Back Pressure!

This is the second to last blended MS/HS event of the Washington Push Back Regular Season. Be prepared to test your skills, showcase your ingenuity, and compete in the sport of robotics.

Participant Release Form

Teams will be checked prior to the event to ensure release forms have been signed. The RECF participant release form can be found in the Documents tab or under the My Account section on RobotEvents.

Inspection

Teams and coaches, please help us speed up inspection time in the morning by checking your robot prior to the competition. The inspection checklist can be found here: https://kb.roboticseducation.org/hc/en-us/article_attachments/32484006644887

Notebooks

Please ensure notebooks are submitted on RobotEvents by the deadline of February 9th.

Lunch

We will be breaking for lunch at 12:15 PM. More information regarding that break will be posted closer to the event!

Volunteer

It takes an army to make these events possible, and we welcome all those who are interested in volunteering. No prior experience is required to volunteer, and we will provide training in the morning. There are roles for all ages, so come out and enjoy the fun!

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of an emergency or bad weather, we will notify teams via email and try to reschedule.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Refunds will only be made if the event is canceled. Refunds will not include the $5 processing fee assessed by RobotEvents for processing.

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event, then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

There will not be refunds for the event, regardless of circumstances. It is expected that teams utilize the RobotEvents system to handle event payments before attending the event.

 

Payment Deadline:

Payment is to be submitted by January 25th. Any team that is added after the payment deadline will have one week to submit payment.

Judging Format

  • Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In-Person Team Interviews:
    Team interviews will be conducted in person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date. 

Digital Engineering Notebooks will be due on the Monday before the event - February 9th
