General Info

Ocean Springs Robotics is honored to host this year's Push Back season closer competition. This competition is open to all registered VRC teams. The competition will be held Feb 7th, 2026 at Ocean Springs High School gymnasium and cafeteria.

Your payments must be shown in the system as paid by Jan 28, 2026 in order to participate in the competition.  Please get on the waiting list if the competition has filled, or you have more than 4 teams and if any spots become available I will contact you.

Snacks will be available, and we plan on selling lunches. More specifics will be available closer to the event.

Please complete all team member release forms at REC Foundation as soon as possible. Once completed, you are good for the rest of the year. Information on Participant Release form and link -- https://waiver.smartwaiver.com/w/5ab2c50d92047/web/

For those with team notebooks please have the complete and posted online by Jan 28, 2026 at midnight.

We will need readers prior to event and interviewers on the day of the competition.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: Registration fees will be reimbursed if the event is cancelled.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: There will be no refunds

Judging Format

 

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks must be submitted digitally by January 28 at midnight for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
