General Info

This Tournament is a blended tournament where high school and middle school teams can both register to compete. Unlike most competitions there will be No Judging at this event. This is done to give teams a real chance to put there robots in competive matches and test them without the stresses of performance and ranks for judged awards.

9185 Pre-Season Tournament hosted by Bellefontaine City Schools.

 Matches

  • Each team will have a minimum of 6 play-in qualification matches, the top teams will then continue in tournament play via 2-team alliances in a single elimination bracket.

  • Please familiarize yourselves and your teams with the V5RC Push Back Game Manual

Food:

  • Our club will be hosting a pancake breakfast for the community on the morning of the event.

  • Lunch will not be provided but we will reach out with option to order pizza for your teams.

  • Concessions will be available for a variety of items.

Miscellaneous Information:

  • All pit tables will have access to power.  Please bring a surge protector/power strip to make sure you have enough outlets for your team

  • We will try to have a dedicated Wi-Fi network available for teams to access during this event.  Please check to make sure your technology is set up to access connectivity while you are away from your building.

9:30 am - Event Meeting

10:00 am - 2:00 pm - Qualification Matches

2:15 pm - Alliance Selection

2:30 pm - 4:00 pm - Elimination Matches

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of bad weather, we will make every attempt to contact all coaches by email, phone, or text, as well as make announcements through social media of any changes of the event or the event schedule.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

We will try to reschedule but will not be able to issue any refunds due to the cost of putting on our event.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

There will be no refunds for individual team cancellations.
