General Info
Welcome to the 2025 Murdoch University VEX Robotics Western Australia Championships. We welcome all participating teams warmly and wish you the best of luck in this exciting event. Get ready to showcase your robotics skills, innovation, and teamwork as you compete alongside other talented teams. We have gathered important information to ensure your participation goes smoothly and you have an enjoyable experience. Please take note of the following details:

Event Location: The robotics competition will take place at the Murdoch Active Sports Hall, building 415. Parking for teams and their teachers, and coaches/mentors will be in Car Park 4. Here is a map of the campus.

Check-in and Inspection: Teams are requested to check in promptly on Friday, October 17th, at 8.00 am for robot inspection. Before arriving for check-in and robot inspection, please complete an inspection checklist.

Arrival and Departure Times: We kindly request all teams to plan for arrival before 8:00 AM on the event day. The competition is expected to run until approximately 4:00 PM. Please note that these times may be subject to change closer to the event, depending on the number of teams registered. We will keep all participants informed of any schedule adjustments.

Food and Drink: Food and drinks will be available at the Murdoch University Student Hub, a short walk from the sports centre. The Student Hub offers a variety of food and drink options. Please note that teams should to plan their meal breaks carefully, as food and drink can't be consumed in the sports centre.

Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
