Welcome to our Texas Region 3 Season Opening Event!

We are excited to kick off the new VEX Robotics Competition season with teams from across Texas Region 3. This event is designed to bring together new and returning teams for a day of spirited competition, collaboration, and community building.

This kickoff event will feature:

Full competition fields
Skills Challenge - Fields open during morning session, lunch, and as needed during quals.
Judging
Season updates and networking opportunities
A fun and energetic atmosphere to start your season strong!

Whether you're a rookie or a veteran team, this is a great opportunity to get match experience early, test your designs, and connect with other teams in the region.

Important Notes:

All teams must check in by insert time, e.g., 8:30 AM
A team will not be included in the match schedule unless registration is complete and check-in has occurred.
Teams must have at least one adult present at all times.
Pit tables and power access will be provided, but teams should bring extension cords and power strips.

If the Event Partner cancels the event:

the event will be refunded

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

The event may be transfered to another coaches team, or no refund will be issued.

Judging Format

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
