General Info

Maine Maritime Academy is happy to invite you to our 2025-2026 VEX V5 Qualifying Event, in Castine, Maine.

Initial Interviews will be done on site the day of. All notebooks will be submitted digitally by 5pm EST October 31st.

Passes for lunch at the Maine Maritime dining hall will also be available to purchase at registration, at a price of $14/person. Food options in Castine are limited, so planning for lunch at the dining hall or packing box lunches is recommended.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event:

If the event is cancelled for any reason, registration fees received will be returned minus the $5.00 processing fee.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

If something happens and you are unable to attend the competition, please notify the primary contact through email or phone. Refunds for non-attendance will only be given if your cancellation notice is received no later than 2 weeks prior to the event date.

Judging Format

Live in person judging - The Team Interviews will be in person at the event. Teams will seek out judging tables for initial interview. Engineering Notebooks will be submitted digitally for judges to review by 5pm EST October 31st.
