General Info

Thank you for registering for the upcoming Pioneer Robotics VEX V5 Robotics Competition Tournament! We are excited to welcome your team(s) and look forward to a fun and competitive day of robotics. Below are important details to help you prepare for the event:

Event Details

Date: Feb. 7th
Time: Doors open at 8 am check-in closes at 9 am
Location: Stillwater Junior High; 1900 N Skyline Dr, Stillwater, OK 74074

What to Bring

  • Fully charged robots, controllers, and spare parts

  • Engineering notebooks 

  • Safety glasses for all team members in the pit and field areas

  • Power strips and extension cords (recommended)

  • Team spirit and good sportsmanship!

Schedule Overview

  • Team check-in: 8-9 am

  • Inspection:8:15-9:00 am

  • Driver meeting: 9:15 am

  • Qualification matches begin: 9:45 am

  • Finals & Awards: 4:00 pm

Reminders

  • All teams must pass inspection before competing.

  • Please ensure that all participants have completed necessary forms (Participant Release Form if required).

  • Concessions will be available onsite. Feel free to bring water bottles/snacks for your teams.

  • Judging will be conducted on-site throughout the day.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of inclement weather and the tournament is unable to go as scheduled, an alternate date will be examined. And if an alternate date can not be scheduled, A refund will be issued. Each team(s) may select to apply their registration to a future event in which that team(s) has not already registered.

Refund and Payment Policies

$5 RobotEvents fee will not be included in any refunds that may be issued.

If the Event Partner cancels the event:

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

It is the responsibility of the coaches/mentors to evaluate the schedules and communicate with their teams as to other activities that may be in conflict with this date. We will do our best to accommodate unforeseen circumstances. Refunds will be for rare cases. We will give credit towards a future events held in Tahlequah durnig this season for all other circumstances.

Judging Format

All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges.
