• 5:00 PM – Doors open to Teams/Coaches/Public 

• 5:45 PM – Inspections complete / Check-in closes (must be passed to compete) 

• 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM  – Matches  

• 8:30 – Venue closes 

Day 3 (Middle School or High School – Skills Day) 

• 4:30 PM – Volunteers arrive 

• 5:00 PM – Doors open to Teams/Coaches/Public 

• 5:45 PM – Inspections complete / Check-in closes (for any teams not previously inspected) 

• 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM  – Matches /Skills 

• 8:30 – Venue closes 

League Finals (Nov 8 – HS + MS) 

• 7:00 AM – Volunteers arrive 

• 7:30 AM – Doors open to Public & Teams/Coaches 

• 7:30–8:45 AM – Event Check-In / Registration / Inspection 

• 9:00 AM – Opening Ceremonies 

• 9:30 AM–12:00 PM – Matches & Skills Challenges 

• 12:00–1:00 PM – Lunch Break (Skills close at 12:00 PM) 

• 1:00–2:30 PM Alliance Selection / Finals Matches / Awards 

• 3:00 PM – Venue Closes 

Volunteer

Event volunteers are the heart and soul of VEX competitions.  

We rely on Referees to keep things fair, Emcees to keep things exciting, and Queuers to keep things on schedule! Volunteering at a VEX competition is easy to learn, fun to do, and rewarding for everyone involved.

Volunteers are needed and appreciated. Individuals or teams wishing to volunteer, please contact the Michael Hardy at [email protected] 

Each team will be required to supply at least one adult volunteer each night and will sign up to have one student from their teams reset. (Each team can pick 2 weeks to help reset, 3 resetters per night.)  

If you have someone that wants to get certified or trained for ref, judge, or scorekeeper ref, let me know and we can set up training sessions. 

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of an emergency or bad weather, the event may be cancelled. 

In any event, teams will be contacted as soon as possible with the information. The event partner will contact teams if the event must be postponed. Teams should make sure their contact information is up to date and includes both school and non-school phone numbers. 

Please check your email the day before and the morning of the tournament (before leaving). 

Refund and Payment Policies

There will be no refunds unless the entire tournament is cancelled. 

If the Event Partner cancels the event:  

Team contacts will be notified about how to receive a refund 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: 

Teams must complete payment within two weeks of registering, if payment is completed and a team cannot make it no refund will be given.  

**If you have to cancel last minute please let us know in case we need to adjust the rosters or schedule. 

Judging Format

Please review the following Judging Format options and keep the ones that apply to your event, and delete the others that do not apply. Please see the Remote Judging section of the Guide to Judging for more information.

•  Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
