Welcome to Foothill Robotics’ 2nd Annual VEX V5 Robotics Tournament

This event WILL qualify for the Event Region Championship.

We’re excited to host you for this year’s competition, which is completely free for all participating teams - because learning robotics and STEM should be accessible to all. We encourage every student to take part, grow, and enjoy the experience.

This free tournament is intended for teams that may not have the resources to participate in multiple events each season. If your team does not fall into this category, please wait until after October 1st to register so that space can be prioritized for those with greater need.

Judging Information:

• Team interviews will be conducted in person on the day of the event.

• Digital engineering notebooks must be submitted by October 9 at 9:00 PM PST. Late submissions will not be accepted.

• Teams must sign up for an interview at check-in. Additional sign-ups will be available at the pit admin table.

Additional Notes:

• The event is held indoors and will not be affected by weather.

• In case of emergency, the Event Partner will contact coaches via email. Please ensure your RobotEvents contact information is up to date.

• Skills Challenge will be open during scheduled times. Refer to the agenda on RobotEvents.

• Inspection will begin shortly after doors open. Arrive on time and prepared.
