General Info
For many, this may be the first competition of the season. So with apologies to the Statue of Liberty, bring your tired, your poor, your huddled masses of robot parts. This is an event that welcomes rough drafts. If your robot can pass inspection and drive, bring it and experience game play and competition.
As we did last year, we will be hosting the event in our dining commons. The event will feature a skills field, qualifiers and elimination matches, and in-person judging. Pizza lunch will be provided and concessions will be available throughout the day.
Grade Level: All
Skills Challenge Offered: Yes
Judging Format: All In-Person Judging

Volunteer
Volunteers are needed in the following areas:
Scorekeeper Referees -- Robotics alumni welcome! Robotics siblings are welcome! Bored parents are welcome! We need several individuals who are age 16 or older to assist the head referees. Please note that this is a full-day committment.
Judges -- We have several qualified judges, but it's always better to have more. Parents with an engineering background who are willing to spend the day interviewing teams and reviewing documentation, please reach out. Again, this is a full-day committment.
Please contact Irv Levy at [email protected] or Alexander Burt at [email protected] if you would like to help us out.
Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
If bad weather or some other unanticipated problem forces us to cancel the event, we will make that decision no later than 5 PM on the day before the event. Participants will be notified via email. Refunds will be issued minus the $5 VEX processing fee.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event: refunds will be issued less the $5 VEX processing fee
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds in this case. However, please let me know at [email protected] as soon as you know that you cannot attend. A team on the waiting list will be very grateful.
Judging Format
Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. Please submit your notebooks by November 5, 2025 at 5 PM.
