Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
Unless the goverment says we must shut down, we will go forward with the tournament. In the off chance there is some sort of emergency that forces us to not run the tournament, we will reach out to the teams via email.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event:
Baring the death of the event partner or some sort of emergency that causes the government to say we cannot do the tournament, we will not cancel, but if that happens, we will refund everything except the $5 fee charged to us by RECF or give you the choice to have the total amount apply to a future tournament that we host.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
Please be sure you plan to attend before signing up for the tournament. We do not do refunds. If you are able to find a team to compete in your place, you can have them pay you and take your spot if you give us notice a minimum of 3 days before the event starts.
Payment Deadline is January 31, 2026. Not paying by this date may mean that your team may be placed on the waitlist to make room for another team.
If teams do not pay on time, they are subject to potential removal from the tournament.
Judging Format
Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. The submission deadline is 2/25/26 at 2:00 PM ET. All notebooks will be pulled at that time and no edits after that will be considered in order to be fair to all teams.
