All attendees are expected to abide by the code of conduct.

All participants are expected to complete the participant release form . (also available in Spanish)  Once per season covers all events

Quick note: our campus wifi does not have a guest logon, so please plan accordingly. Some teams use a hotspot and others have the downloaded app version of their programming and not the cloud based.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

For event day information regarding weather delays or cancellations, please check the event page for updates.

If the event will not run as planned you will receive an email.

If schools are closed due to inclement weather and travel is not allowed from your district to the event, refunds or rainchecks will be made.

Refund and Payment Policies

Payment due by October 27. Any teams not payed by the deadline will be placed on the waitlist.

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Refunds will be made through robotevents.

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

All refunds for payments through robotevents.com may require 6-8 weeks to process.  RECF will take $5 from each payment and that will be deducted from the refund.

Before 2 weeks - Full refund (Less RECF Fees)

Within 2 weeks - No refund 

Judging Format

  • Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. Follow these instructions:  How to Submit a Digital Engineering Notebook.   All electronic notebooks must be received before 12 Noon, Saturday, November 1st (11/1/2025, 12pm). 

    In Person Team Interviews:  Team judged interviews will be conducted in-person at the Event. Every team gets an interview!  Prepare your team by looking over these: Sample Questions.  All teams will be asked the same (3-5) questions for the initial interview. Interviews will last no more than 12 minutes giving every team equal access to the judges.
