General Info
We’re excited to invite you to the 2026 Alpine Robo Games, featuring the VEX V5 Push Back! – This is a wonderful chance for teams to showcase their skills, share their hard work, and put their robots to the test in a fun, friendly competition.
This year, for the first time, we will run a VEX V5 tournament in parallel to our VEX IQ tournament! Both events will be Qualifying Events run in side-by-side gymnasiums allowing participants and spectators to enjoy all the excitement.
Lunch will be available to pre-order and paid for on a per-person cost billed to each team.
Please Note: As this will be a Qualifying Event, Non-Swiss teams are not able to attend this event.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
Tournament is indoors.
Only under severe weather circumstances would the event be canceled. An email would be sent the day before if there is a chance of cancellation. Teams should make sure their contact information is up to date and includes both school and non-school phone numbers.
In the case of bad weather conditions or possible cancellations, please visit the event on Robotevents.com where updates about the event status will be posted as needed. Event Partners will also make every effort to reach teams directly in case of an emergency. Make sure your team contact information is up to date in your robotevents.com account, as this is the information that will be used to contact your team.
In the event that we must cancel an event due to bad weather or an emergency, registration fees will be fully refundable. We will process refunds promptly and notify you via email once the refund has been issued.
Refund and Payment Policies
f the Event Partner cancels the event:
If the Event Partner must cancel the event, all participants will be refunded all but the 5 Euro registration fee
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:
If you wish to cancel your participation, please contact us at least two weeks before the competition date to receive a full refund.
Cancellations made within two weeks of the competition will not be eligible for any refund.

Judging Format
Notebooks:
- Remote Judging of Notebooks - The Engineering Notebooks will be submitted to judges digitally via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents.
- Notebook submission deadline: January 30, 2026
Interviews: Team Interviews will be conducted on site during the event
