General Info

Welcome to the Dragon Thunder Redwater VRC Tournament! 

Power will be available but it's encouraged that each team brings their own power cords/strips.

There will be a maximum of (3) driver and (3) autonomous skills runs per team. 

Payment should be made online before January 23, 2026. Please email [email protected] if payments will be made by check on the day of the event. Teams that have not paid or have not notified the EP about payment by this date may be wait-listed. If the tournament is canceled for any reason, coaches/mentors will be emailed by 6 pm the day prior to the event. Please see the refund policy regarding event registration reimbursement.

*** Please be aware that this event will use the Smart Field Control sets. Each team is responsible for ensuring their team number is on their brain prior to the event.*** Please check the Documents section to complete these steps.

Agenda

** Times for tournament schedule are subject to change on the day of the event.  **

Registration and inspection: 7:30 - 8:45 am.

Drivers Meeting will be at 8:50 am.

Quals will start at 9:00 am. 

Lunch: 11:45 am. - 12:30 pm.
It's highly recommended that your team check the local restaurants and pre-order a couple of days in advance to avoid delays on orders.

Alliance Selection:  3:30 pm

Awards: 4:30 - 5:00 pm

Volunteer

Volunteers are always welcome! As this is a NO JUDGING tournament, I do not need judges, but if you are a certified head referee, shoot me an email. I would definitely discount a team or two if you could be the referee for one of my divisions!!

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

If local area weather is bad enough to warrant a tournament cancellation, an email will be sent to the coaches/contacts of registered teams by 6 PM the day before the tournament (Jan 23, 2026).  Please make sure your team's contact information is accurate!

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Refunds will be made as soon as our business office can process our request. 

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

Please contact the EP as soon as possible.
