General Info
Welcome to the Skirmish in the Stacks, a new event hosted by the Enoch Pratt Free Library in Baltimore, Maryland!
This is a VEX V5 “Push Back” tournament for middle school and high school teams, offering skills and state-qualifying awards. We look forward to hosting your team!
The tournament will be located on the 2nd floor of the Pratt Central Library at 400 Cathedral Street. Early equipment dropoff is available on Friday afternoon, before 5pm only.
VAIRC teams are welcome to run skills.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy
In the event of exceedingly bad weather that prevents the event from occuring on the same day, the event will be cancelled and refunds will be issued less any unrecoverable fees from RECF.
Refund and Payment Policies
If the Event Partner cancels the event: The event will not be rescheduled. Refunds will be made minus any unrecoverable fees to RECF.
If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend: the team is not eligible for a refund in the case that a team is unable to attend.

Skirmish in the Stacks will be held at the Enoch Pratt Free Library in Baltimore, Maryland, 400 Cathedral Street. Early equipment dropoff is available on Friday afternoon, before 5pm only.
Parking: Limited free parking is available in the parking garage at 15 W. Franklin, less than a block away.Each paid team is eligible to request 2 parking validation day passes for this garage in the morning, and we’ll create a waiting list for additional validation requests, to be handed out later in the day as our supply lasts. Street parking for a fee is also available and not too difficult to find on a Saturday. (We cannot reimburse parking outside of the 15. W. Franklin garage.) We’re also easily accessible from public transportation.
Judging Format
All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges
