General Info

Welcome to the 2025 West Oahu VEX Robotics Tournament Hosted by Nanakuli High & Intermediate School

The event will be held at Nanakuli High and Intermediate School in the Multi-Purpose Building, parking is available between the Gym and the multi-purpose building

This is a live, in-person event.

This event will follow all local health and safety guidelines.  In addition, Nanakuli may require additional health and safety protocols.  An email blast will be sent out if any additional requirements need to be met.

1600 - 2000 Set up

1800 - 2000 Skills open if a head referee is available

 

Jan 10, 2026

0700: Doors open for volunteers only

7:30 am: Doors open to teams, inspection, practice open shortly after.

7:45 am: Skills Open (Skills ends when there are 5 qualifications matches left)

9:00 am: Drivers meeting​

9:30 am: Qualification Matches begin

11:30 am: Lunch

12:30 pm: Qualification Matches resume

2:30 pm: Skills Line Closes

2:45 pm: Qualification Matches end -Alliance Selection- Immediately after the last match concludes

3:15 pm: Elimination Matches begin (12 alliances)

5:00 pm: Awards, and breakdown

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

If the event has to be canceled due to bad weather, all teams will be reimbursed $120 per team for the event.  Please see the refund tab for info on reimbursement.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event: 

Once the registration deadline is reached, there will be no refunds unless the tournament is canceled because of the weather.  Refunds will be $120, less the $5 processing fee the REC Foundation charges for each registrant..

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend:

No Refund

  •  Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline December 27, 2025 by 1800.
