General Info

Welcome to the NELA VEX Robotics Tournament!   This will be a full in person tournament, and will include judging and robot skills.

All approved events and event attendees are required to follow all local, state, federal, or any other government ordinances regarding COVID-19 safety procedures, social distancing, and best hygiene practices. Event Partners should continually assess, based on current government guidelines, whether to postpone, cancel, or significantly reduce the number of attendees when necessary.

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of an emergency or bad weather, the event may be cancelled.

In any event, teams will be contacted as soon as possible with the information. The event partner will contact teams if the event must be cancelled. Teams should make sure their contact information is up to date and includes both school and non-school phone numbers.

Refund and Payment Policies

If the Event Partner cancels the event, a full refund will be sent to paid teams within 4 weeks.

 

If a Coach/Mentor completes registration for the event then chooses to withdraw or not attend, no refund will be provided.

 

Judging Format

Please review the following Judging Format options and keep the ones that apply to your event, and delete the others that do not apply. Please see the Remote Judging section of the Guide to Judging for more information.

Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.  Notebooks must be submitted by Wednesday noon (2/4/26) prior to the event.
