Emergency/Bad Weather Policy

In the event of bad weather, an email will be sent to each team’s primary and secondary points of contact. Please keep in mind that Richmond weather may be very different from Northern Virginia, so plan travel accordingly.

The tournament will only be canceled if Richmond-area schools close due to weather. If a single team cannot attend because of weather, refunds will not be issued.

This event will take place rain or shine. In the case of a full snow cancellation, a $100 refund per team will be provided.

Refund and Payment Policies

There will be no refunds outside of a full event cancellation. We are willing to work with teams if we can find a team to take their spot.

Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation  via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on RobotEvents. Submission deadline Feb 14 2026.
